Professor Sudarsun Kannan is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at Rutgers University. His research focuses on operating systems and their intersection with computer architecture, distributed systems, and high-performance computing. His research has contributed to production systems, open-source projects, and industry patents. Before Rutgers, he was a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. from Georgia Tech. He deeply cares about teaching and mentoring students.
