Senior Capstone Options | Chat with Advising Deans | Networking
Nov 15 @ 1 - 2 P M
Via Zoom
1. Curious about your capstone options? Start with the virtual guide linked here.
2. Get your capstone questions answered and make some connections with other honors students at our fall Capstone Q&A session on Nov 15 at 1 - 2pm via Zoom (see the flyer below).
3. Get advice from Honors Scholars in the senior capstone experience video
4. Review DegreeNavigator for your requirements (including Honors Program, Core, major, and your planned coursework too)
5. Later this spring, all juniors submit the Honors Capstone Form online to let us know your plans:
a. If you already know that you no longer plan to do a capstone/ finish honors: email your honors advisor to withdraw from SASHP.
b. Still strategizing capstone options? Check in with departmental or SASHP advising (as needed) to determine your options.
6. Planning to finish up your honors courses to be an Honors Scholar next year? An honors contract is a helpful option. Check out these frequently asked questions to verify if your anticipated course and instructor are eligible. Near the start of the term, propose a project to your professor and submit the form with their verification. Need ideas or have questions? Check the FAQs here.
Don't forget to get support from your honors advising dean to have a successful semester and plan ahead.
RBS students: Dean Schnatter will communicate guidance on your capstone projects via email later this semester as you have more than one form to verify your plans (rising seniors, only!)
